My mom is loaning us her digital SLR camera (aka “the fancy camera”) while we are in Kenya. The fancy camera arrived just before we went to Chattanooga, Tennessee last weekend, so we decided to take it for a test run. We assumed that fancy camera = awesome pictures. As you can see, we were wrong. Turns out, you need to know how to use a fancy camera if you want awesome pictures.
At least the rock is in focus…

My husband doesn’t understand the concept of “auto-focus”.
A failed attempt at artsiness.
I don’t even know what that line is.
Did we really need a fancy camera in order to take this shot?
